Customizing your Android device with just one button!!

Getting tired of the way your android device looks?? Want to customize your device without having to root or flash a custom recovery??  Want to change the theming of your device but dont want to slow your device like most launchers??  Well there is a new amazing application for android called themer that allows you to completely customize the theme of your android device with just the press of a button!!  And the best part is you can also change the theme at any time as often as you want!  So when you start getting tired of your current theme you can change it without having to rearrange your apps or widgets cause everything is already done for you.  And if you do want to customize the themes further you still have that option.  So simple to use and fun to play around with changing your themes as often as you want!!

To set up themer is super easy as well!! First just download and install the app themer beta.

Once themer is downloaded and installed just start the application. A message will display in a window asking you if you want themer to create a widget. This widget allows you to switch from your current android launcher to themer with ease if you decide to switch back and forth between the android launcher and themer. I would recommend to allow themer to create this widget even if you dont have the intentions of switching back and forth because if you change your mind later it does make the switch much easier and doesnt take any extra space on the device or slow it down or anything so it doesnt hurt to have it in case you need it later on.

Once you decide to allow themer to make the widget or not the application will load into a short tutorial for the application and all of its features. You can either read the pages or just slide through them but it would be a good idea to read them and watch the short video in the end because it will explain all the customizing you can do if you dont want to just use the premade themes or you want to add your own touch to one of the themes.

After you finish the tutorial slides and video themer will automatically load up with all the most popular themes already displayed. You can search for a specific type of theme or you can scroll down and choose one you like and once you press on the one you like a preview will display. You can slide side to side and preview exactly how the theme will display on your screen and descide weather you like the theme or not. If not just press back and preview another simple as that.

Once you preview and choose the theme you would like to use and apply to your device all you need to press is apply!! Thats it!! Once you apply the theme it will download quickly and apply to your device. It will take a second to load but once it is loaded for the first time it wont need to load everytime you press the home button. Themer is actually much quicker than most launchers and doesnt slow down the device because its so simple and doesnt have a bunch of fancy unneccissary widgets running in the background.

Once you have your the theme you have choosen applied to your device you can set themer as your default launcher so everytime you press the home button your custom theme will show instead of switching back to your original android launcher. All you need to do to set themer as the default launcher is press the home button and a window will display asking weather you want the android launcher or themer to be activated when you press the home button. Just choose themer and press always. From now on when you press the home button you wont be automaticaly switched back to the android launcher and themer will stay active.

Now if you ever want to change this option and go back to the original android launcher this display box wont display again when you press the home button so there is a short process you must go through in order to revert back to the android launcher. First you must clear the defaults for themer since themer is the default launcher now. So go into the settings of your device and press the application manager.

Once you are in the application manager scroll down til you see the themer beta application and select it. Once selected a screen will appear showing the details of the application and a few different options. Scroll down til you see the button that says clear defaults and press it. Once you press the button the themer defaults will be cleared and there wont be a default launcher associated with the home key. So once you press the home key again the same box will display again and you will have the option to choose the android launcher as the default launcher associated with the home key.

Once you are back to the android launcher if you allowed themer to create the widget than now you have the widget you can put on one of the android home screens and simply press to bring themer back up. Now you will need to clear the defaults again to switch the default associated with the home key each time you wish to switch but the widget allows easy access to bring the themer application back up.

Themer is by far the easiest and quickest way to completely customize the way your android device looks. You can completely change the theme by just a press of a button and has many themes to choose from that are already created and ready to use. Just select the theme you want and press apply. Themer makes it easier than its ever been to customize your android device and you dont even need to root your device!!
